How orders work
After your uploaded product has been reviewed and approved.
You will now be able to receive orders for the product.
When a customer places an order you will receive the notification of the order on your vendor dashboard stating the order Id.
This orders are constantly monitored by the admin so as to know if you have delivered or not. For this monitoring you might receive calls or Whatsapp messages from us asking if you have delivered.
The status of the order will remain in processing until it has been confirmed you have delivered, then the status will be changed to completed after delivering. For an order not completed the money paid by customer will remain with swiftshop and will only be available to you three (3) days after you have made a successful delivery.
Vendors have an ultimatum of 5 – 7 working days to deliver an order, failure to do this before the said time will lead to an automatic cancellation of order and refunds will be made to the customer that made the order.
Important term used in order status;
Pending payment – order received but not paid.
Failed – there was a problem while processing the payment.
Processing – payment received, stock reduced-order waiting to be processed by the shop.
Completed – order is complete, no further action is required
On hold – the stock has been reduced, but the shop staff must approve payment
Cancelled – canceled by customer or shop staff – no further action required.
Refunded – the order has been refunded by the shop manager – no further action required
Vendors return policy
Situations might arise whereby customers might wish to return goods they received due to one reason or the other. As a vendor we understand that this might be a bit frustrating to you. We will always ensure that the experiences customers receive from you is at a top notch.
For goods return we need to ensure that you know what is at stake;
1. We offer a three (3) days return policy all returns initiated three days after delivery are void and rejected. And with this vendors will get paid in such situations and no refunds will be made.
2. If returns are initiated before the three (3) days such returns will be in review and all payments to vendors will be on hold until the review of such orders are completed.
3. Vendors are expected to receive returns of eligible goods from customers the same way they delivered it and we will initiate the refund at our end. If vendors refuse to receive returns we will still refund the customers and this might result to double loss.
4. Vendors are expected to receive a confirmation of return of order from us before accepting any returns.
This message above will be updated as soon has any new changes has been made by admin always endeavour to check back from time to time
